A painting of sharing

They are two artists, one French, the other Norwegian, and they have been painting together for almost ten years. The specificity of their work is the blend of two perceptions of the plant world. This complementarity is their signature. "Root of Gold" emphasizes the strength of nature and life. They translate their wonder through the contrasts of material between the roughness of the trunk and the lightness of its foliage. They work on balance and harmony, like the "Vitruvian Man."
Their themes are symbols common to all cultures and their diversity. They provide us with an opportunity to question our own roots and the place of humanity in the world. We hope to contribute to defining the meaning of LIFE in the collective consciousness.
