Jimmy LAW

Jimmy Law is a South African painter born in 1970 in Bloemfontein, Orange Free State.
He began working in a clothing and surfboard printing company in Woodstock, then launched his career as a freelance illustrator and worked in the comic book industry.
He continued to paint on the side, but it was in 2008 that he decided to devote himself entirely to painting.
In 2010, he radically changed his artistic approach and began painting with broad brushes. Indeed, he shifted his painting style from photorealism to a more energetic style, allowing himself the precision of detail for the most important element of his paintings, the gaze, which stands out from his portraits, which are primarily painted in oil.
His works are sold throughout the world (United States - Australia - France - Germany - London - China etc.)
