LOLEK IS A SCULPTOR BORN IN BOULOGNE ON MAY 14, 1984
A precocious artist, he created his first drawings and pastels at the age of 10 and exhibited his first bronzes at the age of 12.
Today, his nude subjects no longer shock anyone. However, at the religious school he attended, beyond the erotic nature he was criticized for, the drawing teachers would say he lacked talent and that his drawings were too simplistic.
Yet, he revealed an innate sense of balance and generous forms that can be found throughout his already long career. He expresses somewhat provocative carnal sensations in his works, making him a very talented and highly regarded young artist.
After graduating high school, he decided to pursue his passion.
A professional artist from an early age, he has exhibited in art galleries around the world since 1996.
His works have a unique style enhanced by high-quality patina.
Originally, his refined and ample forms allowed him to create without mastering the techniques and made his sculptures easily stable; this "immaturity" gave him a style and established his artistic signature.
Today, it is inseparable from his work.
He only offers original, numbered works, always in patinated or painted bronze.
