Maxime PAWELEC

Maxime Pawelec is 25 years old. Originally from Savoy, he has lived surrounded by metal since childhood. His father was a blacksmith, and it was in his workshop that he learned to observe, listen to, and respect the material. From a young age, he understood that behind the strength of metal lay something alive and sensitive. He chose to train in industrial metalwork, a field where precision is as important as understanding the material. He worked for seven years at Meunier Frères, a company renowned for its expertise in precision metalwork, primarily serving the pharmaceutical and nuclear sectors. Demanding of himself, he loves working with stainless steel. For several years, he honed his technique, constantly pushing the boundaries of what can be done with the material. And then, at a certain point, he felt the need to go further—to move from industrial techniques to a personal artistic approach. His desire was simple: to breathe life into this metal he knew so well, by putting into practice everything he had learned and everything that had been passed down to him. His work represents the will to unite the craftsman's skill with an artistic vision. Today, he explores light and movement through his pieces, seeking that point of equilibrium between the rigidity of the metal and human sensitivity. When steel becomes a reflection, emotion takes shape.
